The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) created a pivotal space for builders in 1944, which blossomed into the International Builders’ Show (IBS) in 1998. IBS stands as the largest light construction building industry tradeshow in the United States, dedicated exclusively to the needs and opportunities facing home builders.
The Growth and Scale of IBS
IBS has shown remarkable growth, drawing in over 100,000 attendees and becoming one of the largest conventions nationwide. The show alternates between the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida, and the Las Vegas Convention Center in Nevada, both being among the largest in the US.
Design & Construction Week: A Milestone Collaboration
Since 2014, IBS has been co-located with the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS) under the banner of Design & Construction Week. In 2023, this collaboration, along with the National Hardware Show, brought nearly 110,000 attendees and close to 2,000 exhibitors, covering over one million square feet of space.
