Vivi got an email from a client from East Timor. As You see he only sent a project blueprint and a design concept as following picture. What’s the problem?
Oh, you see, he doesn’t know he needs more info like materials, dimensions, colors, specific methods, and various product accessories: wall fittings, rails, corner codes, locks and so on.

But guess what? He came up with an idea: an amazing super-long, L-shaped countertop with grooves!
Amazing, these are technical challenges!
You hardly see such products in the market because they not only require high technical skills for a super-long, L-shaped, grooved countertop but also demand high transportation design skills.

Grooved Countertop: We designed several drainage grooves at the sink, using CNC to carve them. The grooves go from shallow to deep, coarse to fine, making the drainage grooves efficient for draining water and effectively preventing water accumulation on the surface.
Custom-shaped Countertop: We customized a unique-shaped countertop, an L-shaped one, to be placed over a row of kitchen cabinets, with one side hanging down. Considering the aesthetics of the countertop, we made it with rounded edges for safety and beauty.

The client initially considered shipping the countertop as a whole. Ops, do you know how much will it cost? Only few kitchen cabinet could be load in a container. That’s opulent!
So considering packaging, transportation, loading, unloading, and the length of the countertop, which would make transportation difficult and expensive, client finally decided to segment the packaging for transportation. This also made it easier to assemble and maintain the product after arrival. Excellent choices!
During packaging, we clearly marked the adhesive side & outward-facing side on the product, indicating which side should face up and down to prevent the client from making mistakes.
At the same time, we also provided the client with an installation video and manual beforehand, to assist them in a better installation.
